Bradford City AFC will travel to Crawley Town on the opening day of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League Two season, on Saturday August 5.
The Bantams’ full fixture list has now been confirmed, with Mark Hughes’ men raising the curtain on their campaign at the Broadfield Stadium, before their first home game of the season against Colchester United seven days later.
In between these two games will come the first round of the Carabao Cup, over the week commencing Monday August 7, with the first-round draw to be conducted at 2.30pm today.
City’s first scheduled midweek game of the season will come at Stockport County on Tuesday August 15, with the Bantams waiting until Tuesday February 13 for their first scheduled home midweek game of the season, against MK Dons.
A customary busy festive period will begin away at Gillingham on Saturday December 16, before a trip to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday December 23.
Home outings against Morecambe on Boxing Day (Tuesday December 26) and Stockport County three days later (Friday December 29) will then follow, before a trip to Crewe Alexandra on New Year’s Day (Monday January 1) and a visit of Crawley on Saturday January 6, over FA Cup third-round weekend.
The Easter weekend sees the Bantams host Tranmere Rovers on Good Friday (March 29), before a trip to Grimsby Town on Easter Monday (April 1).
City’s regular season then concludes at home to Newport County on Saturday April 27, a week after their final away game at Walsall on Saturday April 20.
Round One of the Carabao Cup will be held over the week commencing Monday August 7, while the first round of the Emirates FA Cup will take place over the weekend of Saturday November 4.
