Bradford City AFC can confirm its 2022/23 retained and released list, ahead of next season.

The following players have been offered new terms with the club:

- Alex Gilliead

- Andy Cook

- Bobby Pointon

- Dylan Youmbi

- Harvey Rowe

- Heath Richardson

- Liam Ridehalgh

The following players have not been offered new contracts ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, and will be released:

- Abo Eisa

- Adam Clayton

- Charlie Wood

- Cole Roberts

- Jack Wilson

- Kian Scales

- Oscar Threlkeld

- Yann Songo’o

The following players remain under contract for the 2023/24 season:

- Brad Halliday

- Ciarán Kelly

- Colin Doyle

- Emmanuel Osadebe

- Finn Cousin-Dawson

- Harry Chapman

- Harry Lewis

- Jake Young

- Jamie Walker

- Luke Hendrie

- Matt Derbyshire

The following academy scholars have been offered professional contracts for the 2023/24 season: 

- Freddy Jeffreys

- Jay Tinsdale

- Noah Wadsworth

- Sam Bentley

The club has exercised an option to extend Colin Doyle’s playing contract by a further year. He will also remain City’s goalkeeping coach.

Meanwhile, Dara Costelloe (Burnley), Dion Pereira (Luton Town), Romoney Crichlow (Huddersfield Town), Scott Banks (Crystal Palace), Thierry Nevers (West Ham United) and Tolaji Bola (Rotherham United) depart, following the expiry of their loan agreements with the Bantams.
