Graham Alexander was pleased to continue the positive work from Saturday as his Bantams defeated Forest Green Rovers 3-0 in Sky Bet League Two.
After going into the break two goals to the good, Alexander was happy with the way his side adapted to the changes FGR threw at them, trying to get back in the game.
“We had to continue where we left off from in the last game,” he said.
“The aim was to create pressure on the opponent and we did that.
“After taking a two-goal lead into half-time we expected them to come at us in the second half.
“We had to work out what they were doing formation wise after their changes.
“Once we got to grips with it, we were able to control where they had the ball. Harry (Lewis) made a couple of important saves too.
“It was a great win on Saturday, and another one again tonight.”
The Bantams boss was hasty to take time to thank over 300 City supporters who made the long trip tonight, feeling glad the performance on the field was able to reward their efforts.
“We get looked after well by the club when we come on these long away days, with hotels and overnight stays,” he added
“The supporters might finish work an hour early and hit the road to come and support us.
“The least we can do is show every single supporter who does that, that we are doing everything we can to send them back with a smile on their face.
“We were delighted with the support and delighted we were able to reward that with our performance on the pitch.”
