Jonathan Tomkinson has been called up for the USA Youth National Team, and will be unavailable for selection for both tomorrow’s EFL Trophy trip to Grimsby Town, and Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two visit to AFC Wimbledon.
The Norwich City loanee will join up with his international teammates for a youth training camp in Phoenix, Arizona, in preparation for next year’s 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games.
The side will face Mexico this Wednesday (October 11), before taking on Japan next Tuesday (October 17). He misses City’s next two fixtures, before returning to the squad next week.
