Tyreik Wright has discussed the confidence City's current unbeaten run has given the players to finish the season strong, ahead of tomorrow's trip to Walsall.

The Bantams made it four games unbeaten at Salford City last weekend, and have the chance to make it three wins in a row as they make the trip to the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

Wright believes the confidence in the camp is high going into this game, and wants this to continue.

“It always helps, winning games,” he said.

“Around the training ground, morale is very high.

“We are looking forward to the rest of the season.

“You have to have confidence in the team.

“For me, personally, I am just concentrating on the games ahead and I want to try and perform the best I can.”

The Plymouth Argyle loanee has been playing in a new position in recent weeks, finding himself at left wing-back.

While it is unfamiliar to him at this club, he is relishing the challenge and enjoying his new role.

“I never thought I would say this, but I am really enjoying it,” Wright added.

“I am doing well there, and am just trying to do what the gaffer needs from me.

“It could may well be a new position for me in the future, but we will see.

“I have more space when I get the ball and I have not got my back to goal. There is a clearer picture of what I want to do.

“It definitely tests my defensive discipline, and playing wing-back will help that.”
