Graham Alexander wants his side to carry on from where they left off on Tuesday evening, ahead of Saturday's visit of AFC Wimbledon.
The Bantams returned to winning ways in midweek, securing their place in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Semi-Finals with a victory over Doncaster Rovers.
As City prepare to face the Dons this weekend, Alexander has all his focus on his own team and what they can do to improve and level up their performances.
“I think Wimbledon are a good team,” he said.
“They have kept a similar formation and squad list, and the manager knows his players. It will be a tough test for us.
“We have to follow on from Tuesday and continue the same physical output and performance.
“I want to focus on our team and get our levels of performance as high as possible.
“If we get to those levels, we can be a challenge for any team.”
Alexander had a vantage point for Tuesday night’s game following a touchline suspension, an opportunity which has given him a greater insight into both the positives and negatives of areas of City's game.
“It was a different view for me on Tuesday,” he added.
“It helped me to look at things like our distances and the things tactically we can improve on.
“The team was excellent. We spoke about what we needed to do better from the previous games, and making a little tactical tweak.
“We were a bit more disciplined and had a bit more control. It was good to get that insight for myself.”
