Harry Chapman was pleased with a good team performance in City’s 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers at the University of Bradford Stadium, which booked them a place in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Semi-Final.

Chapman’s 58th-minute free-kick was the difference maker as the Bantams advanced to face either Blackpool, Peterborough United or the winner of tonight's quarter-final matchup between Wycombe Wanderers against Brighton & Hove Albion Under-21s.

City's match-winner is very mindful of not getting too over excited with the thought of Wembley being one game away, and says he and his teammates will take things one game at a time. He is keen to only focus on the semi-finals when they roll around, as to not distract the Bantams from any other game they have to prepare for beforehand.

“It was a good all-round team performance,” he said.

“We were solid defensively, and going forward we created a lot of chances.

“I felt we were unfortunate to go into half-time level, but we got the goal in the second half and came away with the win.

“Wembley is the goal, but we will take it game by game. The focus switches to the weekend now.

“When the semi-finals roll around, we will focus on that, just as we will turn our focus and attention to any game we have coming up.”

City’s No.20 hopes last night's performance can give the Bantams momentum going into the rest of the season, as he knows the side have the quality, and just have to add that more clinical edge to their game.

The 26-year old is looking forward to City’s next game this coming Saturday where they host AFC Wimbledon at the University of Bradford Stadium, saying the home supporters give the team a massive boost ahead of each outing.

“We have the quality,” Chapman added.

“We create a lot of chances in games, it is just our end product we need to work on more.

“It is the finer details we need to tweak, and we will get there. By doing that, that will lead to us winning more games.

“I cannot wait for Saturday. I love playing her at VP, the fans are always behind us and are a massive help.

“They always give us that extra motivation to get us over the line, so I am looking forward to Saturday.”
