The University of Bradford Stadium’s ‘Atmosphere Section’ will be moved to the Lower Tier of The Kop, from the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
This move follows feedback from a recent survey, in which supporters were invited to vote on the future location of the section, and is in line with Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) regulations, after the club received communication from the SGSA that persistent standing cannot be permitted in the upper tiers of the University of Bradford Stadium. Should this continue, measures will be put in place including the introduction of capacity restrictions at Valley Parade.
Over 2,600 responses to the survey were recorded, with 80% of supporters expressing a desire for the ‘Atmosphere Section’ to be moved from the Upper Tier of the North West Corner to the Lower Tier of The Kop.
Seven per-cent of supporters who answered stated no preference, with 13% saying they wished for the section to remain in the Upper Tier of the North West Corner.
Those wishing to sit in the ‘Atmosphere Section’ are advised to secure tickets and season tickets in the Lower Tier of The Kop, with the drum and flags likely to be situated in Block B.
The front eight rows in the Upper Tier of the North West Corner will remain available to those who would still like to sit in this area of the stadium, though the rest of the Upper Tier of the North West Corner will be closed.
