TICKETMASTER ON BOARD AS NEW TICKETING PARTNER

6 March 2024

Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Ticketmaster, which will see the ticketing company provide the Bantams’ all-new ticketing operation.

A long-term agreement signals the introduction of a brand-new online ticketing platform, streamlining a supporter’s ticket purchase journey, both physically and online.

Being fully introduced and in place ahead of next week's visit of Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday March 12 (7.45pm), the all-new online ticketing platform will include features such as an interactive stadium map and the facility for disabled supporters to select seats and purchase tickets online.

Supporters’ customer numbers will remain the same, though account activation will be required ahead of the Forest Green visit, with further details and communication to follow.

City’s director of ticketing and supporter services, Marco Townson (pictured above, left), said: “Addressing the concerns raised by our supporters regarding our previous ticketing platform has been a top priority for us, and it is clear that a significant change is necessary to not only rectify these issues but also to enhance the overall ticket purchasing process.

“Our new partnership with Ticketmaster marks a pivotal moment in our journey towards making things more accessible and convenient for all our fans. We are extremely excited to introduce a state-of-the-art online ticketing platform that includes user-friendly features like an interactive stadium map and streamlined online purchasing for disabled supporters.

“Furthermore, we are embracing the digital age with the integration of digital ticketing solutions, such as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. This not only modernises the way our supporters receive and store their tickets but also facilitates a smoother entry into the stadium, reducing queues, enhancing security, and promoting environmental sustainability by cutting down on paper waste.

“This combination of addressing past frustrations and embracing new technology demonstrates our commitment to innovation and our dedication to providing a seamless, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all Bradford City AFC supporters.”

Chris Gratton, Managing Director, Ticketmaster Sport, added: “After spending time understanding the challenges and opportunities at Bradford City, we feel well-placed to bring our platforms and technologies to the club to support them in unlocking new ways to engage with supporters to drive higher engagement and long-term revenue growth.”
