Ash joined the Bantams on an initial two-year deal in the summer of 2023 after rejecting a contract extension at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.
The towering centre-back featured over 180 times for Tranmere Rovers, after graduating from their academy before moving across the border to Scotland.
Across two spells for Aberdeen, the Wales youth international, scored 11 times as well as appearing in UEFA Europa League Qualifying in 2014.
In between his separate spells at the Pittodorie Stadium, the 6ft 4ins defender spent time at Northampton Town, while also featuring for Walsall during the 2021/22 season.
Before teaming up with fellow Welshman, Mark Hughes, Ash recently spent time at Kilmarnock, netting seven times in 43 games.
