Stubbs signed for the Bantams in January 2023, on a free transfer until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 6ft centre-back arrived at the University of Bradford Stadium from Exeter City, after appearing four times in Sky Bet League One.
Born in Liverpool, Stubbs began his career at boyhood club Everton, before turning professional at Wigan Athletic in 2017.
A move to Middlesbrough followed, and after loan spells at Notts County, Hamilton and ADO Den Hagg in the Netherlands, he made his mark at Exeter City.
He featured 24 times for the Grecians in their 2021/22 promotion campaign, scoring twice in a crucial 2-1 win over Stevenage.
Since his arrival in West Yorkshire in 2023, Stubbs started all 21 games as the Bantams pushed for promotion scoring once in a 3-0 win away at Rochdale.
