Kian came through the Bantams’ youth system and signed his first professional contract in July 2020.
He signed a one-year extension in June 2021 which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2021/2022 season.
Scales scored his first senior goal for City in their 2-1 triumph over Colchester United in March 2021.
