Ryan signed a two-year deal with the Bantams this summer following the expiry of his contract with Swindon Town.
East began his career at Reading, and became the Royals’ 50th academy graduate when he made his debut against Leeds United in March 2019.
The midfielder made 23 appearances for Swindon Town last season, where the Robins missed out on promotion after penalty shootout heartache against Port Vale in the Playoff semi-finals.
