Bantams defender Rory McArdle has been called up by Northern Ireland for their forthcoming friendly in Turkey.
After making his competitive debut for the country last month against Israel, McArdle will now make up part of the Northern Irish squad who will play Turkey in an international challenge fixture in Adana a week on Friday (15 November 2013).
McArdle's appearance for Northern Ireland in their final 2014 World Cup qualifier in Israel three weeks ago saw the defender handed his sixth international cap, with his previous five all coming in friendlies.
The call up for McArdle will see the centre half go on his third separate spell of international duty with Northern Ireland already this season.
Previous call-ups have meant McArdle missing out on City's Sky Bet League 1 fixtures with Brentford in September and then Tranmere Rovers in October.
