Club News

15 July 2016

In recent years, Bradford City FC has taken pride in the numbers attending home games and the fantastic support and atmosphere engendered by the Club’s followers.

It is our aim to continue to develop an atmosphere that demonstrates fully the support for the players at home games.

In recent seasons, drums, a cornet and flags have been encouraged in Block K in the Upper level of the North Stand Kop.

Therefore, we intend to continue with this development by encouraging the musicians to use this section of the stadium.  Many other Clubs, and most notably the national stadium at Wembley, have adopted this approach with so-called singing or music zones.

It is important that safety is maintained in all sections of the stadium and to this end, the musicians have agreed to abide by codes of conduct and have co-operated fully with the Club in its attempts to cut-out any abusive chanting or inappropriate songs.  It is also important that supporters use the seat allocated on their season ticket or match ticket.

However, we appreciate that the singing and drumming is not to everyone’s taste.  Therefore, supporters are reminded that from Monday 18th July 2016 they are able to change seats free-of-charge for the coming season, if they so wish.  If you do not wish to be close to this environment, please get in touch with the Ticket Office to see if alternative seats are available.

If this environment is what you want at your football matches, again, please feel free to contact the Club to move from your existing seats to the back of Block K.  Obviously, we have had another highly successful season ticket campaign, so any moves will be subject to availability.

Supporters are reminded that this Sunday (17th July ) marks the final date for the £149 season ticket offer with seat transfers being processed from the following Monday.
