Jake joined the Bantams on an initial three-year deal in the summer of 2022.
Young came through the academy at City’s West Yorkshire neighbours Guiseley, before joining Sheffield United’s academy in 2019.
The tricky forward found professional football at Forest Green Rovers where he netted nine times in 51 appearances, helping the side win promotion to Sky Bet League One in the 2021/22 season.
The attacker, who can also be deployed on the wings, joined City in 2022, where he scored on his debut against Barrow, who he went on to join on loan in January 2023 - featuring 17 times.
